Studying for my trip

I have been doing some research for my trip to Washington D.C. My mom brought maps home and I have been trying to find different sites on them. I think I will be staying in a motel less than a mile from the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. I have also been reading books about Abraham Lincoln since he is my ancestor.
